I recently read that the American Diabetes Association recommends blood glucose 70 mg / dl and 130 mg / dl before meals and should be at least 180 mg / dL 1 to 2 hours after meals, when a drop of blood from the finger to the test .
Normal fasting values from 70 to 110, whereas 2 hours after eating your normal to 140 Their level of glucose in the blood can and should vary depending on what you eat, the level of activity and lots of different stress factors are not the same result over and over again. I suggest that if it does not already been diagnosed with diabetes, and then the test because there is nothing more than normal variation. By the way, if you eat pasta before a test is not the fast.
