What Hybrid Bicycle will get me the best bang for $350? - specialized crossroad bicycle
My wife and I are considering buying a hybrid bike and need advice, as it is best to spend our money.
I like the test drive I have on my Trek 7300, but it is completely out of our price range. Consumer Reports suggested that Specialized Crossroads Sport ($ 330), but not the exchange rate and the leader of the joints you see on the roadside the chain back and share.
I am ready to consider the Trek 7100, so if someone is a that the knowledge that could offer truly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I would recommend against CR with respect to the investigation of a bicycle. Take a look at a magazine or biking outdoors or similar - ie usually a shopping guide at the beginning of the year. At least you are sure that people who actually write comments on these magazines know something about bikes or needs to take a publisher, which (in contrast to CR).
I have also personally verify whether specialized Crossroads - I would be surprised if they have not indicated shift is (so common that even controls were not indexed yet out).
Check the Giants - have a large factory that makes many bikes in the prices that we are looking for a number of different bicycle manufacturers. Tenda good blow-for-the-money "(even though my personal experiences with them on mountain bikes, so I'm not sure what they have in the way of hybrids).
Do you intend to buy again? I suggest a bike that you want to reach outside your price range, then check Craigslist, Ebay, classifieds, etc. for the bike or something. On eBay, I had some local programming, such as shipping, complete bike is likely to add $ $ on your overall costs. Not that I usually do to avoid their local bike shop, but alas, at $ 350 you can not buy this bike more.

The bicycle industry is so competitive that the two bikes in the same price, which is probably worth it. Go to your local bike shops and let them know what you want and how much you spend. Test drive what they have to offer, then go to another bike shop and test ride bikes more. Ignore brands, marketing hype and fancy prospectus. You can not edit. Buy the bike that fits and feels best for you. Will you travel more and more to enjoy.
BTW, do not be surprised if you and your wife to pick two different bikes. Once you have decided what type of bike and price range, it is the size and comfort. The brand that fits you better, can not one that best fits.

Last February, I bought a Trek 7200, which was a model at 06 Links and was trading at $ 350,00. I liked this bike and Rode 900 miles before the upgrade I did.
Before buying, test drive one Schwinn Super Sport. They are in a Schwinn bike shop, bike or power available.
